If you are shopping for practice management software, MyCase is almost always on the shortlist next to Clio. The good news: unlike several competitors, MyCase publishes its prices. This guide breaks down MyCase pricing for 2026 plan by plan, explains what you actually get at each tier, covers the add-ons that change your real monthly bill, and shows how to estimate total cost for a solo, small, or mid-sized firm.
MyCase pricing at a glance (2026)
| Plan | Billed annually | Billed monthly | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| MyCase Basic | $50 per user/month | $60 per user/month | Solos and small firms that need case management, billing, and trust accounting |
| MyCase Pro | $100 per user/month | $120 per user/month | Growing firms that want automation, intake forms, CRM, and texting (labeled “Most popular”) |
| MyCase Advanced | $130 per user/month | $150 per user/month | Firms that want 8am IQ AI case and discovery assistants, advanced document automation, and an open API |

All prices are in USD, per user, per month, as listed on MyCase’s pricing page on October 13, 2026. MyCase says annual billing saves “up to 16%”: $120/year per user on Basic and $240/year per user on Pro and Advanced. MyCase also advertises a free trial with no credit card required.
MyCase Basic: $50–$60 per user/month
Basic is MyCase’s entry plan, described as “Organize the essentials. Get paid faster.” According to the pricing page, it includes:
- Case and contact management
- Time entry, invoicing, and trust accounting
- Online payments with next-day deposits
- Customizable reporting
- Unlimited document storage
- A limited client portal
Who it fits: A solo attorney or a two-to-three person firm that mainly needs one place for matters, calendars, time, and billing. If you are replacing spreadsheets plus QuickBooks plus a separate payment processor, Basic covers the core.
What’s missing: Workflows, document generation, unlimited eSignature, intake forms, and the legal CRM are Pro features. If client intake is a bottleneck for you, Basic will feel thin quickly.
MyCase Pro: $100–$120 per user/month
Pro is the plan MyCase labels “Most popular.” It includes everything in Basic, plus:
- Unlimited eSignature and document generation
- Automated workflows
- Client intake forms and legal CRM
- Two-way texting, chat, and call log
- Premium billing, invoicing, and reporting
- 8am IQ Writing and Document Assistant (AI)
- 70+ integrations
Who it fits: Firms that want intake-to-invoice in one system. The built-in CRM and intake forms are the big reason to upgrade. They can replace a separate tool such as Lawmatics or Clio Grow for many small firms. (Compare: Best AI CRM for Law Firms and our Lawmatics review.)
Pro is also the minimum plan for the MyCase Accounting add-on (below).
MyCase Advanced: $130–$150 per user/month
Advanced adds the deeper AI and firm-management features. Everything in Pro, plus:
- 8am IQ Case Assistant (AI-powered case analysis and research assistant)
- 8am IQ Discovery Assistant (AI-powered OCR for document discovery)
- Advanced document automation
- Desktop Drive (PC and Mac)
- Conflict check tracking
- Split billing
- Open API
Discovery page limits: MyCase states that firms get 5,000 Discovery Assistant pages per user each month, shared across the team, and can add another 5,000 pages for the firm for $30 (expiring at the end of the subscription period, per 8am’s terms).
Who it fits: Litigation-heavy firms with large document sets, firms that need conflict tracking or split billing, and firms that want to connect MyCase to other systems through the API.
Add-ons that change your real cost
MyCase Accounting: $39 per user/month
MyCase lists its built-in accounting at $39 USD per user/month, available on Pro and Advanced only. It is positioned around three-way trust reconciliation and a single view of firm financials. If you already pay for QuickBooks Online plus a bookkeeper’s time on trust reconciliation, compare that cost carefully. Note: Clio includes accounting on all its plans (see our Clio pricing breakdown).
LawPay Payments: $0 monthly fee
MyCase lists LawPay payments with “No monthly fee, competitive processing rates.” See our LawPay pricing breakdown for published rates, and MyCase vs LawPay if you are deciding between practice management and payments-only. Both are 8am products. The pricing page did not list specific card or ACH processing percentages when we checked, so ask for the current rate sheet. Processing fees can be a meaningful line item if you collect large retainers by card.
Extra Discovery Assistant pages: $30 per 5,000 pages
Only relevant on Advanced, and only if you exceed the included monthly page allowance.
What MyCase actually costs: example firm budgets
These examples use only the published per-user prices above. They exclude payment processing, taxes, and any implementation or migration fees, which MyCase did not list on the page.
| Firm | Plan | Monthly (annual billing) | Yearly (annual billing) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo attorney | Basic | $50 | $600 |
| Solo attorney | Pro | $100 | $1,200 |
| 3 users | Pro | $300 | $3,600 |
| 3 users | Pro + Accounting | $417 | $5,004 |
| 10 users | Advanced | $1,300 | $15,600 |
| 10 users | Advanced + Accounting | $1,690 | $20,280 |
On monthly billing, the same three-user Pro firm would pay $360/month ($4,320/year), which is $720 more per year than paying annually.
MyCase vs Clio pricing
Clio’s official pricing page (checked October 13, 2026) says plans start at $49 per user/month across four tiers (Starter, Core, Signature, Elite). Clio no longer lists every tier’s price publicly and directs firms to “Get pricing” or book a demo. That makes a clean line-by-line comparison hard. Here is what we can say from the two official pages:
- Entry price: roughly equal ($49 Clio Starter vs $50 MyCase Basic annually).
- Accounting: Clio says accounting is included on every plan; MyCase charges $39/user/month and requires Pro or Advanced.
- Intake/CRM: MyCase includes intake forms and CRM in Pro. Clio sells Clio Grow as an add-on for Core and Signature and includes it in Elite.
- Transparency: MyCase publishes all three tier prices; Clio publishes only the starting price.

Which MyCase plan should you choose?

- Choose Basic if you are a solo or very small firm and mostly need matters, calendar, time, billing, and trust in one place.
- Choose Pro if leads and intake matter to you. The CRM, intake forms, workflows, texting, and unlimited eSignature usually pay for themselves if they help you convert even one extra client per month.
- Choose Advanced if you handle discovery-heavy litigation, need conflict tracking or split billing, or want to build integrations on the open API.
A practical tip: since every plan is priced per user, decide who truly needs a seat. Paying monthly for the first few months during setup, then switching to annual once the team is committed, can avoid paying for a year of a plan that doesn’t fit. Confirm with MyCase that mid-term plan changes are allowed.
Questions to ask MyCase sales before signing
- What are the current LawPay card, eCheck, and ACH processing rates?
- Is data migration from my current system included, and is there an onboarding fee?
- Can I mix plans (for example, Pro for attorneys and Basic for staff)?
- What happens to my price at renewal?
- How is AI usage (8am IQ) limited or metered beyond the Discovery page allowance?
- Can I export all my data if I leave?
Bottom line
MyCase pricing for 2026 is straightforward: $50, $100, or $130 per user per month on annual billing ($60, $120, or $150 monthly), plus $39 per user for accounting on Pro or Advanced. Pro is the sweet spot for most small firms because it bundles intake and CRM that competitors often sell separately. Before you commit, add up seats, accounting, and payment processing to get your true total, and compare against Clio’s pricing.
