Exec vs Workflows: which do you need?
- Choose Gavel Exec if you review and negotiate contracts (third-party paper, redlines, playbooks) in Microsoft Word.
- Choose Gavel Workflows if you generate repeatable documents from intake (estate plans, family law, real estate, corporate forms).
- Some firms use both. They are billed separately.
How Gavel pricing compares
Gavel publishes its prices, which makes budgeting simpler than with vendors that only quote after a demo. For contract review, see how Exec stacks up in our Gavel Exec vs Spellbook comparison. If your firm runs on Clio, our Clio pricing guide covers the practice management side.
