- Email signups: If you subscribe to our newsletter or request a download, we collect your email address and any other details you choose to enter (such as name or firm name).
- Tool inputs: Our calculators, scorecards, and policy generators may process the information you type in. Do not enter confidential client information into any tool on this Site.

Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our hosting provider and analytics tools automatically collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed, time on page, and approximate location (country/city derived from IP).
3. Analytics
We use the following analytics services to understand how visitors use the Site:
- Clicky (Roxr Software Ltd.) – web analytics that records page views, referrers, and visitor sessions. See Clicky’s privacy policy.
- StatCounter – web analytics that records page views and visitor statistics. See StatCounter’s legal and privacy information.
[If Google Analytics 4 or Google Search Console is added later, list Google LLC here.] These services may set cookies or use similar technologies. We use the data in aggregate to improve content and do not use it to identify you personally.
4. Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. The Site uses:
- Essential cookies required for the Site and WordPress to function (for example, security and caching).
- Analytics cookies set by Clicky and StatCounter to count visits and understand usage.
- Affiliate/referral cookies set by third-party companies when you click an affiliate link, so they can credit us for referrals.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect some Site features. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.
5. Email communications (Hostinger Reach)
Our email list is managed using Hostinger Reach, an email marketing service provided by Hostinger. When you subscribe, your email address and signup details are stored by Hostinger on our behalf so we can send you the newsletter or resources you requested. Emails may include tracking that tells us whether a message was opened or a link was clicked. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email or by contacting us. See Hostinger’s privacy policy.
6. Affiliate links and disclosure
Some links on the Site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase or sign up, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The company you visit may use cookies to track the referral. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites; please review their policies. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

8. How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site (hosting by Hostinger, analytics by Clicky and StatCounter, email by Hostinger Reach, backups by UpdraftPlus to our chosen storage), with affiliate partners as described above, or when required by law.
9. Data retention
We keep email subscriber data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is retained according to each provider’s retention settings.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EU/UK or state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent.
